Internships
Open Discourse Coalition (ODC) interns help inform and shape programs in a range of sizes from 10-400 people.
Interns are required to attend ODC programs and exclusive dinners and workshops with guest speakers. Interns are given access to mentorship from ODC fellows and affiliated Bucknell faculty along with alumni networking opportunities.
Internship duties will be tailored to the intern’s skills and area of study, but the intern will be expected to perform duties such as:
Promotion of ODC events (postering, emails, social media, text communications),
Ad hoc research related to programs,
Assisting the Office Manager with tasks within the office,
Outreach to students and student groups to partner with ODC,
Event assistance (setup, handouts, etc).
Interns will be expected to dedicate approx. 10 hrs/week to ODC, primarily in the ODC office that is within walking distance of campus. The internship timing will align with the academic calendar and observe all Bucknell-recognized holidays and breaks.
How To Apply:
Candidates should submit a statement of interest (500 words or less) outlining why they are interested and why they are an excellent candidate to receive the internship. Email Executive Director Dawn Toguchi: dawn@opendiscoursecoalition.org
